Thai Smart Security Association (TSSA) and Thai Secure Identity & Biometric Association (TSIBA) Inauguration Ceremony Successfully Held

On 16th July, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Thai Smart Security Association (TSSA) and Thai Secure Identity & Biometric Association (TSIBA) were successfully held in Thai – Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok, Thailand.

Hou Hongchuan (Leader of SAC/TC100/SC2), John Che (CEO of ZKTeco and Chairperson of TSIBA), Xie Chongtong (Chairperson of Thailand-China Chamber of Commerce and TSSA), Zheng Yuelong (Chairperson of the Board of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce), Dr. Anil K. Jain (International Biometric verification expert), Dr. Derrick Lim (Doctor of Chulalongkorn University), Professor Vutipong (Kasetsart University), Professor Mongkol (Asian Institute of Technology), นายบุญยงค์  ยงเจริญรัฐ (Chairperson of Young Chinese Chamber of Comme), นายกิตติพงษ์  เตรัตนชัย (Honourable Chairperson of Young Chinese Chamber of Comme), นายณัฏฐ  ณัฐนิธิการัชต์ (CEO of Thai E-commerce Platform Advice) and many other experts in Thai security industry had attended in the event.

เสรีพิศุทธ์  เตมียาเวส (Former Attorney General of Royal Thai Police , Chalongkie (Deputy Attorney General of Royal Thai Police), ศานิตย์  มหถาวร (Chief Constable of Bangkok Metropolitan Police), นายยุทธนา  หยิมการุณ (Inspector General of the Ministry of Finance), Alonggong (National Reform Council First Deputy Speaker), MR. Hou Hongchuan (Leader of SAC/TC100/SC2) and Zheng Yuelong (Chairperson of the Board of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce) had given speeches and acknowledged the virtue of the foundation of the organizations and expressed great wishes. “The strategic establishments of China’s Belt & Road and Thailand Smart City 4.0 will provide great opportunities for the development of global security technique, the non-stopping breakthrough of biometric verification techniques and effective integration will significantly enhance the quality of cities’ security.” said Mr. Hou.

In the afternoon meeting, Dr. Anil K. Jain (International biometric verification expert), Dr. Derrick Lim (Doctor of Chulalongkorn University), Professor Vutipong (Kasetsart University), Professor Mongkol (Asian Institute of Technology) shared to the guests their treasurable opinions and recommendations regarding the prosperity of Thailand’s biometric verification and the future orientation of development.

TSSA and TSIBA are non-profit organizations mainly found by ZKTeco, and are authorized by the Thai national safety department. They are non-profit organizations of enterprises in security field, biometric verification field, sales, applications, technical research, software and hardware integrated platform etc., and global and Thai research institutes, media etc., and are qualified as a social group legal person. With the virtue of serving the industry’s interests, the organizations insist to construct an industry mutually-winning platform of manufacturing, learning, research and engineering, and promote the association of local enterprises and scientific research management departments, which are favourable to push the healthy development of security industry and biometric verification industry, and enhance the competitiveness of Thailand’s industry in the international market.

At present the organizations have already built co-laboratories with related governmental departments, Michigan State University, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University and the Ministry of Science, and are collaborating local advanced resources, with the Capital Bangkok as the center, bridging up various industries’ experience and talents, and build a 3-in-1 structure of Government-University-Civic Market for the security of Thai people. The organizations are having cooperation and exchange with experts and industry associations from over 10 countries including U.S., China, Spain, U.K., Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Russia, Mexico, India and South Africa etc., formulating a professional organization which face the Thailand-ASEAN-Global Market.

As the major organizer and core member of the conference, ZKTeco has presented to Royal Thai Police a set of Car Plate Recognition Standalone (LPR) devices, and has presented FV350 finger vein access control device to related government department for the development of Thailand’s security industry. Mr John Che, the CEO of ZKTeco and the Chairperson of TSIBA said, “ZKTeco will deeply expand and research identity authentication and biometric verification security technique, and, with international standards as core, deepen the localized promotion and application of identity authentication and biometric verification security technique in Thailand, in order to make peoples’ lives safer and more convenient.
